Prevention, Diagnosis, and Effective Targeted Treatment
Countries must take bold and urgent action to curb the threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – millions of lives will be lost if efforts remain status quo, with impacts especially felt in low- and middle-income countries.
Evidence: Forecasts suggest that deaths attributable to AMR will increase by 60% between 2022 and 2050. These deaths could be drastically reduced through evidence-based interventions. (Source)
